Pawtuxet Park Maintenance Begins

Pawtuxet Park has begun a major tree maintenance and revitalization effort after years of overgrowth and safety concerns, funded in part by generous grants from the Palmieri Trust. Crews completed initial pruning and removals with additional phases planned for stump grinding, stabilization, and new plantings as the PVA and City of Warwick coordinate a long-term master plan.

Update On Trolley Stop Improvements 

Construction is underway to restore the historic Trolley Stop at Broad St. and Rhodes Ave., with Cranston Area CTC students building period-accurate railings and benches. Led by the PVA and supported by the Masons, the project will return the stop to its original appearance by the end of the school year.
